Billings Best Consignment offers the opportunity for organizations around Billings to raise funds for their causes. Typically, BBC consignors earn 60% of their sales. (The Best Money in Billings!) Our designated "Charity Consignors" will earn 20% more, totaling a whopping 80% of their sales. Charity Consignors can be non-profit groups such as school PTAs, religious groups, athletic organizations, or the like.
It's easy to become a Charity Consignor!
- Call or email us for your consignor number.
- Identify, within your organization, the contact person/volunteer who will be heading up this fundraiser.
- Market to your donors/supporters regarding your collaboration with BBC and the need for good-quality, gently used donations. (We have marketing copy already developed so there is no need to reinvent the wheel!)
- Collect all of the goodies and prepare them for inclusion into the sale.
- Bring them, ready to go, to the Shrine Auditorium the week of the sale for drop-off.
- Come shop!
- Cash your check after it arrives - within two weeks after the sale ends.
Focus on collecting non-apparel items. Clothes sell at a 60% rate. Books, toys, furniture, equipment, and all of the other "stuff" sells at 95%. So your organization will get a bigger bang by collecting and consigning non-clothing items.
BBC will work closely with your organization to ensure that this is a "WIN-WIN" endeavor. WE can provide you with any advertising/marketing materials you might need.
